In November 2022, CMS Distribution joined Techies Go Green, a movement of IT and tech-oriented companies who are committed to decarbonising their businesses.

CMS Distribution specialises at taking emerging technologies to market, whilst growing established brands using a range of value-added services.
It joins the community of organisations aiming to set Net Zero targets. Techies Go Green enables each member to purposefully improve their energy efficiency by collaborating and sharing practical know-how. Started by IT distributor DataSolutions, more than 200 companies have signed up to the initiative to date.
Since appointing an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) manager in March 2022, CMS has embarked on multiple projects to embed sustainability across our business, including calculating our scope 1-3 carbon emissions across all our global offices. Measuring our impact at this scale will enable us to make a significant step towards our decarbonisation goals, and set accurate reduction targets towards a Net Zero vision.
As a signatory of Techies Go Green, CMS Distribution will continue their sustainability journey by gaining practical knowledge on how to reduce the carbon impact of the tech industry, build relationships with like-minded companies, and find sustainable products and services.
Increasingly, customers want to work with companies who care about reducing their impact on the environment, so this will be a welcome value-add for CMS Distribution. Many of CMS’s clients are already signatories of Techies Go Green. Joining this movement will further align CMS Distribution with the environmental values of the businesses they work with.
