ESET Sponsors Digital Matters

Throughout the last 30 years, ESET has provided schools an opportunity to be protected, especially in 2022 when it started sponsoring Digital Matters.
Digital Matters is an online learning platform which is designed to support KS2 teachers and students in their digital journey. The system was developed as part of ESET UK’s progressive CSR mission. Developing this has become encouraging and empowering for both teachers and parents to engage young people from the ages of 9-11.
The programme develops lessons within online safety, from cyberbullying to fake news. It is extremely important in today’s society that children are educated on these factors and made aware of the power that can be obtained through the internet.

The platform works by enabling teachers to develop different types of learning to keep it engaging for their students. The sessions are spilt between two categories: Interactive Learning & Open Upon Online.

Interactive learning allows teachers to search through the lessons to find a subject to learn with the students which will increase their knowledge. Once they have completed the first part of learning, they will move on to the Open Upon Online. This course is a scenario-based activity where they will guide their character, which provides children with a better understanding of the consequences of their choices.

ESET ‘Top of the class’

ESET prides itself on delivering the best to schools and has taken into consideration that budgeting is hugely important when managing funds as this can be difficult for many schools around the UK. To assist schools, ESET has developed a ‘Secure Our Schools’ Programme which focuses on helping create an environment in which schools can learn about being cyber-safe at a cost-efficient expense. The programme offers a number of benefits with ESET's award-winning software.
