London, United Kingdom - 1 June 2026 - CMS Distribution, a leading value-added technology distributor, today announced the successful completion of the integration of Cables Direct, following CMS Distribution’s acquisition of the business in 2023.
Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Ripley, UK, Cables Direct has established a strong reputation as a specialist distributor of computer cabling, networking, connectivity, and multimedia products. The integration further strengthens CMS Distribution’s capabilities within the infrastructure and connectivity market, while significantly expanding the product portfolio and service offering available to customers across both businesses.
The combined organisation now employs approximately 550 people across 14 locations in 8 countries, including the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, China, and the USA.
