Legrand, the global leader in power and energy solutions, has announced a new distribution partnership with CMS Distribution, one of the UK’s largest technology distributors.
As part of this agreement, CMS Distribution will become Legrand’s newest critical power partner in the UK, strengthening Legrand’s channel presence and expanding commercial access to its advanced single phase UPS portfolio.
CMS already has an established relationship with Legrand as a distributor of Raritan, one of Legrand’s key brands and a global leader in data centre infrastructure management. Raritan specialises in intelligent rack power distribution units (PDUs), KVM-over-IP switches, serial console servers, and environmental sensors. This existing partnership provides a strong foundation for the expansion into Legrand’s UPS solutions.
Through CMS, customers will benefit from increased availability of Legrand’s robust line interactive UPS range, including the Keor SP and Keor SPE tower/RT systems. Ideal for a wide variety of IT applications, these solutions support critical loads up to 3000VA. The partnership also includes the innovative Keor PDU, a combined UPS and PDU designed for simplified installation in 19-inch racks and panels.
In addition, CMS will offer Legrand’s new high efficiency online double conversion UPS solutions, including the versatile Keor DK. Available in convertible rack/tower formats from 1kVA to 20kVA, the Keor DK features a unity power factor to deliver full rated capacity. From 5kVA upwards, units can be paralleled in configurations of up to four systems, enabling greater scalability, redundancy, and higher overall capacity.
By adding Legrand’s UPS portfolio to its existing Raritan offering, CMS enables customers to source a comprehensive range of server and power infrastructure solutions through a single distributor, simplifying procurement and ensuring seamless compatibility across critical IT environments.
