At CMS, looking after our environment is really important to us and something that we strive to improve on year on year and become a more sustainable business. CMS is proactively becoming more energy efficient and by 2023 aims to achieve the following:
- To switch our current energy contracts to those who only offer using power from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and biomass.
- Reducing consumption across all our sites by upgrading our fittings to LED and by installing sensors to low traffic areas to reduce wastage.
- To complete regular and continuous consumption reviews with our energy providers in order for us to highlight any opportunities to further reduce usage at different times of the day.
- Join Future Net Zero platform to enable CMS to measure and reduce carbon footprint and to gain accreditation.
