What mattered at CES 2023 with Chris Corse

We spoke to Chris Corse, EMEA Business Director, about his thoughts on the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) - "It was great to be back at CES, it's been the first time in a couple of years for me and great to see people face to face something that was a real benefit."

Chris mentions the developments in the Apple accessories market, and how MagSafe has opened up new opportunities for vendors to create great accessories for Apple users. He goes on to talk about how CMS has a great portfolio of vendors, including Satechi, Twelve South, and Native Union, who are constantly developing new products in the Apple accessories space.

He also talks about the recent emergence of the Matter standard, a smart home platform that works across multiple platforms like Apple, Google, Samsung, and Amazon. Chris believes that this technology will be a game-changer for the smart home market and will allow for greater ease of use for consumers. It will also make the smart home market more accessible to consumers who may have used different platforms previously.

In conclusion, Chris sees a lot of potential in the smart home market and is excited about the opportunities it presents for CMS and its partners. He believes that this technology is still in its early days and will become more mainstream in the future, providing ample room for growth.
